POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER
Meet Amber, a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with a background in support work and psychology, and a genuine passion for understanding people and supporting them to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Amber brings a calm, compassionate, and curious approach to her work, grounded in the belief that connection, trust, and empathy are at the heart of positive change.

With experience across support work and a strong foundation in psychology, Amber values person-centred and evidence-based practice that upholds dignity, promotes independence, and reduces the use of restrictive practices. She takes the time to understand each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals, working collaboratively with individuals, families, and support teams to create practical, sustainable supports that fit naturally into everyday life.
Amber is deeply committed to ensuring people feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported. She is passionate about creating environments where individuals can build confidence, strengthen communication, and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges with greater independence and self-understanding. Her work is guided by the belief that meaningful change happens through consistent, respectful, and relational support over time.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys simple, grounding moments - spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, enjoying good food, going for walks along the water, and unwinding with a coffee. She brings this same sense of balance and warmth into her professional practice.

“"Everyone has their own story, strengths, and way of experiencing the world, and I believe support should honour that first. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and connection, and I’m committed to walking alongside people and their families to build practical, meaningful strategies that feel real, respectful, and achievable in everyday life.”" - Amber Kemble
