DIETETICS
Moving beyond traditional therapy...
At Kind & Collaborative Empowerment, our Dietitian is passionate about helping individuals build safe, sustainable, and empowering relationships with food. We understand that eating is shaped by a complex mix of biology, lived experience, sensory needs, and emotional wellbeing, so we take a holistic, neuro-affirming approach that meets each person where they’re at. Our care is always respectful, trauma-informed, and centred around what feels achievable and meaningful for the individual and their family.
We support a wide range of nutrition needs, including food avoidance and aversions, ARFID, body image concerns, growth and nutrient concerns, and disordered eating patterns. Using strategies like food chaining, graded exposure, food fortification, and gentle nutrition counselling, our Dietitian co-creates practical, personalised plans that honour food preferences, sensory profiles, and autonomy.
By fostering safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive spaces, our Dietitian empowers individuals to explore new foods at their own pace, with curiosity and confidence. We prioritise co-regulation, caregiver support, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure each person’s nutrition journey is supported, consistent, and deeply respectful of their unique neurotype, body, and goals.
