POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER

Meet Emily, a compassionate and dedicated Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about empowering neurodivergent individuals to thrive through understanding, collaboration, and strengths-based support. Having recently completed her Master of Autism and Neurodivergent Studies, alongside a Bachelor of Primary Education (Special Needs Education), Emily brings together specialised postgraduate knowledge with a strong foundation in inclusive education to provide meaningful, evidence-based support for individuals and families.

Emily's background in education has given her a deep understanding of the diverse ways children and young people learn, communicate, and engage with the world around them. Through her work with neurodivergent adolescents and families, she has developed a genuine appreciation for the importance of creating environments where individuals feel safe, respected, and empowered to be themselves. She believes that meaningful support begins with listening, building trusting relationships, and recognising each person's unique strengths, interests, and goals.

She is committed to ensuring supports are individualised, neuroaffirming, and centred around what matters most to each person. Emily finds immense fulfilment in helping individuals build confidence, overcome challenges, and celebrate progress - no matter how big or small.

Emily is particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent adolescents as they navigate important stages of development, identity, education, and increasing independence. Her combined experience in education and autism studies allows her to understand the unique challenges young people may face while recognising and nurturing their incredible strengths and potential.
