Qualifications
Meet Abbey, our Practice and Intake Manager at Kind & Collaborative Empowerment. With five years of experience across disability support, youth work, and client coordination, Abbey brings a warm, organised, and people-focused approach to her role. She is passionate about creating a smooth and supportive experience for every individual and family who connects with KCE, and values the meaningful relationships that are built along the way.

Abbey plays a key role in supporting both our clients and team, ensuring that communication is clear, processes are seamless, and each person feels welcomed and prioritised from their very first interaction. She is especially excited to be growing our Oxenford office and contributing to a service that genuinely puts people first.
Originally from Wynyard, a small town on the North West Coast of Tasmania, Abbey made the move to the Gold Coast in early 2024. Growing up in a sports-loving family, she spent her time playing soccer and cricket, and still enjoys being active or getting involved in any sport. She’s an early riser who starts most days at the gym, and on weekends you’ll often find her exploring with her partner - whether that’s road trips, camping, or relaxing by the beach.

"I’m passionate about creating a positive and welcoming experience for every person who connects with us. It’s about making sure people feel supported from the very first interaction and building strong, genuine relationships along the way." - Abbey Hawkins
